AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): At the cabinet meeting on Sunday evening, the President thanked the efforts of Iran's diplomatic system, calling the US government an oppressor and violator of international law, and stated, "The current US President has committed the worst evils and crimes against the noble Iranian nation".
In this meeting and after the report of the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the disgraceful failure of the United States in passing the resolution to extend the arms embargo of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr Hassan Rouhani said, "By withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and illegal re-imposition of sanctions, Trump has violated not only the Iranian nation's rights, but also the spirit of collective treaty and agreement with several countries".
The President stated, "The US government blatantly assassinates Haj Qasem Soleimani and takes responsibility for it".
